What exists today

Built to verify the boring parts first.

FakeDemos now has a minimal execution path for owner testing: a teacher runs an installer in their own account to create a fictional teaching workspace. It is not a real-business automation product.

A protected, teacher-run Apps Script installer that seeds a fictional business folder in the teacher’s own Google Drive.

One populated fictional operations Sheet plus one fictional business-context Doc, created only after the teacher runs the installer and approves Google’s normal permissions.

A deterministic preflight report that checks fixture fields, fake contact-data safeguards, financial totals, and installer artifacts.

Clear pass, fail, and not-configured readiness states so an owner is never told the installer was tested when it was not.

What is not included yet

No public customer download, paid availability, automatic delivery, or direct OAuth connection is offered here.
DemoFakes never accesses a teacher’s Workspace: the teacher manually runs the installer in their own account.
No Gmail messages, email sending, real user-data access, paid APIs, triggers, or business automations are included.
No checkout, payment form, waitlist form, or purchase button exists until a synced platform product and fulfillment asset are ready.

The live Google boundary

The protected bundle contains code that can create a Drive folder, Sheet, and Doc only when a teacher manually runs it inside their own Apps Script project. The owner-side preflight cannot prove that a particular teacher’s Google account ran it successfully.

Until an owner completes the manual Apps Script test, the live Workspace state stays not configured—not “passed.”
